Tradition of the Hackerhaus in Munich
The history of the Hackerhaus goes back to the 15th century. Until the 18th century the Brewhouse-Brewery is known as "Prew im Haggenviertel". Since January 2020, today's Old Hackerhaus is managed by the innkeeper couple Christine and Lorenz Stifl.
The Hackerhaus impresses with its cozy charm, the many different Parlours-Rooms invite you to stay and can be booked for exclusive events. You can enjoy a good meal or drink from the beer garden in the Sendlinger Straße and soak up the flair of the pedestrian zone. Or you can visit our beautiful patio.

In-house butcher
This is unique! Stiftl has its own EU-certified butcher's shop in the north of Munich and produces all sausage and meat products fresh every day. Our master butcher Andreas Jung obtains the meat from farms in the region. With our own sausage products we participate in the program "Geprüfte Qualität Bayern" and "Bio Bayern".
Andreas and his team produce the freshly kettled white sausages every day with great attention to detail and, above all, with a love of the butcher's profession. In addition to the delicious traditional sausage, the butcher's shop also produces "Wiener", woolly sausages, pork bratwurst and liver loaf. We obtain our meat exclusively from farms in the region. Andreas and his team process the delivered meat products further. Here they smoke, salt, cut, pickle, cook and season! Our team of butchers brings that special taste to sausage and meat products.
